Giveaway: The Old Words And Vanilla Tea Kit!!
Friday, November 12, 2010
Darlings,
I'm so happy for having such great readers! I have now 104 followers, a very nice figure considering I started this adventure just 6 months ago with little expectations but great enthusiasm. I've been a bit absent the last few weeks because of some personal-family issues. But you have been there, making sweet comments and publishing amazing posts in your blogs that inspire me as much as make me happy. Therefore, I'm having my very first giveaway, a special one, because I'm giving you the chance to win the Old Words And Vanilla Tea Kit consisting of:
- A vintage scarf
- A copy of Good Wives, by Louisa May Alcott
- Two bags of my favourite tea: Vanilla tea!
- The Common Reader pencil. This is very special, because The Common Reader is my favourite Virginia Woolf book and it's how the boy usually call me :)
So, what do you have to do to win the kit?
1) Just leave me a comment telling me which is your favourite book or writer or telling what do you expect to read in my blog, ideas are so welcome! :)
2) Show me some love, follow me via google or bloglovin', that way I could be in touch with you! :)
3) You can live in Spain, US, UK or Thailand, it doesn't matter, you can enter the giveaway anyways!
Love,
Darling L

This is such a great giveaway—what a cool mix of items!
So hard to choose a favorite book/author! Peter Pan holds a special place in my heart, as does A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. I'll always love The Bell Jar too. I'll read almost anything!

I'm a new follower, too. Thanks!
PICK ME!! :-)
I love C.S. Lewis... I reread the Chronicles of Narnia every year before Christmas. Um, I also love many others.
Hi dear,
I don't know if you remember me.. I've recently added you to my bloglovin' and I'm from Brazil...
I had to share my favorite book!
Well, I'm crazy about Jane Austen's 'Emma'.
It is very inspirational to me because I identify myself with her in terms of being selfish and selfless at the same time, when it comes to worrying about my family and making them priority in my life, etc..
The first time I read your blog, I wrote a comment here saying that my expectations are exchanging ideas on classical literature, something which I'm passionate about and getting some ideas for new books for me to search for here in Brazil in accordance to what you say here and your critics and reviews..
and I'm so glad, because this is also the first giveaway I enter! ;D
so good luck for me! =)

What an adorable giveaway!
One of my very favorite books is "The History of Love" by Nicole Krauss. It is completely packed with beautiful language, but this is one of my (many) favorite quotes:
"Even now, all possible feelings do not yet exist, there are still those that lie beyond our capacity and our imagination. From time to time, when a piece of music no one has ever written or a painting no one has ever painted, or something else impossible to predict, fathom or yet describe takes place, a new feeling enters the world. And then, for the millionth time in the history of feeling, the heart surges and absorbs the impact."
My favorite book is James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl and favorite author is him too. I love reading it and feel his book take me to another place .
I love reading about herbal teas , reviews on teas , recipes or food you enjoy , places and things you like to do . As well as what are your fav. beauty products to use and are any of them natural or partially natural / since I love natural products and feel they are better for the skin and health overall .
