Snow: The World Looks Brand New!

 Tuesday, December 7, 2010

"Wow, it really snowed last night! Isn't it wonderful? Everything familiar has disappeared! The world looks brand new! A new year...a fresh clean start !It's like having a big white sheet of paper to draw on! A day full of possibilities! It's a magical world...let's go exploring!"
— Bill Watterson (It's A Magical World)

I spent the weekend in the countryside and had a wonderful time! It snowed for the first time this season and I enjoyed it like a child. My weekend was full of blankets, tea, books, good conversation and cuddles... Couldn't ask for anything better! :) By the way, that little beauty you'll see below is Kenia, our pretty dog, that has stayed with the family for the last 13 years!

What a beautiful dog! These photos are so nice, the bright red of your hat looks so nice against the snow, and I love the tweed coat.

Love your hat! I too woke this morning to the ground being covered in snow... the first snow is always pretty magical to me! :)

oh fun! I'm not a big fan of cold weather, so snow sort of makes me cringe. But it looks like you had fun in it! haha...the best thing about snow here is that when we get it, we usually get out of school.

I love the red against the starkness of the snow. Sort of like the trailer of Red Riding Hood, the most WTF fairy tale re-telling I've seen. The scarf with its hints of green are a perfect touch.

What lovely photos!! We haven't had our first official snow yet. Just tiny flurries. I love your whole outfit...the black and red hues together are striking. That coat is such the perfect silhouette on you:) xx Marisa

Your landscape looks so pretty coated in snow! We finally got some, too. I'm loving your coat and your dog is such a cutie :)
