"It is a good rule after reading a new book, never to allow yourself another new one till you have read an old one in between."

I love C.S. Lewis and I agree with him, though I usually read old books only and put a new one in between once in a while :)
This Saturday we went to the Old Book Fair here in Madrid that takes place once a year. I had a lovely time. I could spend a whole life searching and reading old books. I always imagine the person who has read that book before me... It's the story inside the story :)

oh look at all those books. I love the smell of used old books a lot. I read a lot of used books. There is something cool to me about opening up a book that has been handed down through so many people who could have so many emotions flow through reading that book. It is like having a connection in a way with someone you don't know anything about.
My sister-in-law hates used books but she reads a lot. She likes everything new. I guess there are those who are old souls and ones who don't like to waste something that is there, and those who are picky picky!!! haha.
P.S. I love C.S. Lewis too. I really need to read a lot of his books. I want to read screwtape letters and mere Christianity, but I've only read his Narnia series.
i have taken up reading a lot within the last few months and i love it so much. i just adore having a story line playing in my head through out the day..
i wish i could be in madrid at the book sale! looks so cool :)
Pretty photos!
I absolutely adore old books! I have one that has a library slip in it from 1903! It makes me so happy whenever I read it.
